OUR HIKE LOCATION:
Riverdale Park West, 201 Winchester St. Toronto Ontario, Toronto
May 6, 2018 – Registration Date | 9:30 AM – Registration Start Time | 11:00 AM – Event Start Time
Join us again, and thousands of Canadians from across the country, as we kick-off National Hospice Palliative Care Week to raise awareness and funds to support the essential work we do in hospice palliative care in our community.
With Toronto’s rapidly aging population, and adults and children living longer with serious illness, the need for compassionate, hospice palliative care and support to improve people’s quality of life, and their caregivers and loved ones, is greater than ever before.
What’s great about the Hike for Hospice is that 100% of all funds raised will remain in your community to raise public awareness and ensure that hospice palliative care and support is available for people living with serious illness or end-of-life, and their caregivers and loved ones at no charge.
Hike Highlights Included:
- 5KM Hike in Riverdale Park
- 2KM Walk through historic Cabbagetown
- Live Music & Entertainment featuring Danny Marks and band!
- BBQ | Kids & Family fun Activities … and great prizes
Leashed pets welcome! Come with your family and friends to walk in memory or in honour of your loved ones at this year’s hike for hospice. Or start a team at your office/school or with your friends & loved ones in support of Hospice Toronto and hospice palliative care.
Come out and join us and Harry ‘the Hiker’ Bear at our Annual Hike for Hospice Palliative Care.
