We’d like to send a huge THANK YOU to everyone that helped make this year’s hike a spectacular event by helping to raise awareness and funds to support the essential work we do in hospice palliative care in our community.
Join us each year (on the first Sunday in May), and thousands of Canadians across the country, to kick-off National Hospice Palliative Care Week.
With Toronto’s rapidly aging population, and adults and children living longer with serious illness, the need for compassionate, hospice palliative care and support to improve people’s quality of life, and their caregivers and loved ones, is greater than ever before.
We are thrilled that 100% of all funds raised for the Hike for Hospice will remain in our community to raise public awareness and ensure that hospice palliative care and support is available for people living with serious illness or end-of-life, and their caregivers and loved ones at no charge.
This year’s Hike Highlights Included:
- 5KM Hike in Riverdale Park
- 2KM Walk through historic Cabbagetown
- Live Music & Entertainment featuring Danny Marks and band!
- BBQ | Kids & Family fun Activities … and great prizes
We look forward to hiking with you at next year’s hike!
