DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image source=”featured_image” img_size=”full” alignment=”center” onclick=”custom_link” img_link_target=”_blank” link=”https://interland3.donorperfect.net/weblink/weblink.aspx?name=E351121QE&id=4″][vc_column_text] \nThis holiday season we are focusing on strengthening our food program so that we can further support our clients\, caregivers and families who are having difficulty putting food on the table as some are particularly vulnerable to COVID-19 and unable to go grocery shopping safely. Others are isolated from their usual support networks or are experiencing financial hardship. \nEarly in the pandemic\, we partnered with local caterers and grocery stores to launch a new program that brings nutritious food directly to our clients\, at no cost. In total\, we have delivered more than 16\,000 hot meals and food hampers and are supporting more than 500 vulnerable families. \nBut there is still a lot of work to be done as we need your help to strengthen the program and keep it going. We are kicking off our holiday giving season this #GivingTuesday\, November 30th. Started a few years ago\, #GivingTuesday is a special day to raise awareness and support charities across the country and takes place on the Tuesday following Black Friday and Cyber Monday. \nOur goal this year is to raise $8\,000 to strengthen and keep the food program for our clients and families going.
