Hidden is a photographic portrait exhibition that brings viewers into the ‘hidden’ lives of Young Carers. A Young Carer is identified as an individual between the ages of five and 18 who is a caregiver for a family member with a chronic or life-threatening illness, disability, mental illness or addiction, or a language barrier.

Led by the Young Carers Program at Hospice Toronto and photographed by photographer, Max Alexander, this exhibition tells the story of Young Carers from across Ontario. Beside the portraits, you will read stories that will captivate your thoughts and shed light on the challenges and triumphs of these incredible young folks.
